Kindle is a non-profit, non-denominational, Biblically mandated Christian organization whose purpose is directed by James 1:27 which states: "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." Kindle endeavors to meet the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of orphans and their guardians. Kindle's objectives are two-fold:
- To inspire and support orphans towards lives of hope, reaching their full potential as compassionate and productive members of their society.
- To provide resources and support a system that is designed to empower guardians who nurture orphaned children within their local community.
Kindle is inspired by the VISION of:
- Orphans with spiritual, mental, social, and economic well being,
- Nutured by loving and supportive Guardians,
- Living in empowered Communities,
- Contributing to the development of a stronger Nation of Malawi.
